How was the project created?
Challenge
The challenge for French Connection, a french-speaking school, was to bring its own face-to-face education method to a 100% digital learning system. This method is very illustrative and dynamic, people learn through pictures in a very practical and natural way. But it was not only sought to ensure that the method worked digitally, but also to be able to tropicalize it into different languages.
Through a digital platform, we wanted to offer a learning experience with interactive and live classes, with a maximum of 7 students and 1 native french teacher.
Project
To ensure a good experience where the students could really learn to speak french, we had to empathize with the students, listening to them and living classes together with them to understand how the teaching and learning method worked. With this we achieved a deep immersion to begin to define the digital experience, integrating different modules, APIs and functionalities so that the student lived the method digitally.
Results
- It was possible to take the face-to-face method to digital and at the same time its tropicalization to other languages.
- The digital method was tested and accepted by real users.
- A self-evaluation process was designed to assign the student to their corresponding level.
- More than 340 records.
- The management of the company is now 100% digital.
More than 20 active groups. - Access to teaching material 24/7.

Who are we designing for?
This digital version was designed primarily for young users who want to learn to speak french as their second or third language, who have an interest in the french culture, and aspire to one day be able to visit France.
Whether on a university or summer exchange, or simply for vacations, they are people who more than learn the perfect grammar of french, they seek to know how to speak the language and communicate with people, to be able to learn colloquial french for day to day through a dynamic, friendly and graphic learning method.


Who are we designing for?

The path towards the MVP
Once the class model was defined through the digital platform, the interfaces were designed and multiple providers were analyzed to achieve the complete experience: online class, whiteboard and evaluation.
All interfaces and flows that ensure the user experience were designed by defining 4 products: a website, a platform for the student, a platform for teachers and a platform for company management.
Work is currently underway to create the same experience for people who want to learn to speak or improve their English.
