Optimizing the business process in collision workshops

We designed and developed a digital tool that simplifies administrative processes, shortens supply times and improves the relationship between Radec and its customers.

Challenge:

Radec is a leading national company in the import and marketing of collision auto parts. Currently, they serve wholesale and retail customers with more than 30,000 products.

They sought us out to simplify their operations and support them in starting a digitalization process focused on simplifying administrative processes, shortening supply times and improving customer relationships.

what do we achieve?

We designed an experience to streamline the commercial and administrative process in collision workshops based on a mobile and tablet application that allows checking product availability and balances, facilitating the placing of orders through this new digital channel.

We generate value from:

  • Optimization in the location and supply of parts, reducing waiting times.
  • Digitization of a process that was previously carried out analogously.
  • Reduction in the time the vehicle is kept in the workshop, providing additional value for the car owner.

How did we do it?

We understood the vision that general management was seeking in this digital transformation effort and through a deep understanding of Radec's infrastructure we were able to define the best user experience.

Immersion

We begin by immersing ourselves in the company, where we focus on understanding its operating and commercial model, its technological and ERP (SAP) architecture, with the aim of understanding the different business rules and its technological capacity.

Exploration

We mapped the operational business processes and understood the critical points that the customer experiences in the auto parts procurement and purchasing process.

Ideation

Based on this understanding, we were able to define the best search experience in a wide catalogue of auto parts and complement it with additional functionalities that improved the relationship with the customer.

Definition

We define and map the web services required to integrate our iOS and Android applications with the SAP ERP. In this way, we provide accessibility and transparency of information for customers.

Construction

Mobile app development, testing and deployment in a production environment.
