We create a digital experience that transforms how travelers discover and enjoy the Ribera de Chapala.

Challenge:

The main objective of this project was to turn the Chapala Riverbank into one of the major tourist destinations in Jalisco, Mexico, attracting a greater number of tourists each year and increasing the economic impact in the region.

what do we achieve?

We designed and developed a responsive website that centralizes all the tourist information of the municipalities of the Ribera de Chapala, offers personalized recommendations and allows users to create itineraries. 

This platform:

  • It increases the visibility of the destination and enriches the travel experience of users.
  • It centralizes all the region's tourist offerings in a single channel.
  • It boosts the economic growth of the region by attracting more tourists and increasing economic benefits.

How did we do it?

We analyze the tourist offer and the experiences of visitors in the Ribera de Chapala. We implement a people-centered approach to identify opportunities for improvement and adapt the offer to the needs of tourists.

Immersion

We focused on understanding the current tourist offer, infrastructure and available information. Our goal was to understand the different tourist experiences, products and services in order to homogenize them in a single search experience.

Exploration

We conducted interviews with different tourist profiles to understand their current experience. This phase allowed us to identify areas for improvement and key opportunities.

Ideation

We generate key concepts such as the digital itinerary, based on the learnings and insights obtained during the exploration phase of the different tourist segments.

Definition

We define the modules and functionalities necessary to offer a personalized experience tailored to the interests of users. We create a clear vision of the product and a roadmap for its development.

Construction

We developed an intuitive and functional platform that centralizes information on tourism products and services, and facilitates the planning of personalized visits.
