Optimizing the business process in solar energy

SUNBANK

We designed a digital tool that streamlines the financing, quoting and sales processes for solar systems.

Challenge:

Sunbank is a fintech startup that offers financing for solar systems. The challenge was to define and design a new digital tool that will improve the experience of the different users who interact with Sunbank, from registering an opportunity to signing a contract.

what do we achieve?

We optimize the sales and quoting process for solar systems through a digital tool with an intuitive interface that centralizes customer information. This centralization guarantees transparency and efficiency, making it easier for customers to obtain the financial credit necessary for their solar panel, while boosting business scalability.

How did we do it?

Based on a user-centered approach, we adapted our methodology for this project as follows:

Immersion

Understanding the business, its regulations and the vision of the different stakeholders. With this understanding we identify the users for whom we design.

Exploration

We conducted an ethnographic exploration where we explored the different experiences of business users, implementers, sales force and external sellers.

Ideation

With the capitalized learnings we captured multiple concepts that served as foundations for the digital product.

Definition

We define a digital product that accompanies multiple users throughout the CLV, i.e. from motivation to installation of the solar system.

Construction

We developed the product respecting the business rules and the operation through full integration with the ERP (Odoo). In addition, on the front end we delivered a product with excellent (UX) for clients, which simplified its implementation.
