We designed a marketplace that revolutionizes the experience of buying and selling tuning auto parts.

Challenge:

TMX, a leader in the tuning market, was looking to create a digital experience that would unify the offer of auto parts and customization products for enthusiasts and professionals in the sector. The challenge was to design a marketplace that offered a fluid, safe and reliable buying and selling process, allowing users to find products easily and giving them confidence when making transactions.

what do we achieve?

  • Intuitive and secure marketplace: We create a marketplace that connects buyers and sellers, facilitating the search, selection and purchase of auto parts and tuning products in an efficient and safe way.

 

  • Personalized and reliable experience: We designed an intuitive interface and an advanced search system that allows users to find the exact products they need, increasing satisfaction and confidence in the platform.

 

  • Boosting the tuning market: The platform fosters the connection between enthusiasts and sellers, allowing the expansion and professionalization of the tuning industry in Mexico.

How did we do it?

Through strategy workshops and stakeholder interviews, we understood the logic behind the business's issues and challenges. We conducted in-depth research to identify the needs of buyers and sellers, which allowed us to design a marketplace which effectively addresses industry challenges and facilitates transactions between both parties.

Immersion

We conducted qualitative research, interviewing key business stakeholders. We analyzed the global and national market of the tuning industry, identifying the opportunities and needs of buyers, as well as sellers, to define the functionalities and value proposition of the platform.

Exploration

Through user interviews, we mapped buyers’ needs in three ways: vital, operational and informational. We created user archetypes for the B2B and B2C segments, and analyzed current purchasing channels, evaluating how the platform could improve the experience of buying and selling auto parts.

Ideation

We co-created key concepts that materialize the new marketplace experience, identifying 5 areas of opportunity: compatibility, mutual trust, personalization, education and knowledge, and community and connection. We developed project sheets for each functionality, ensuring that they responded to the real needs of users and generated value for the business.

Definition

We define a platform architecture that integrates search, purchase, and communication processes. We design intuitive interfaces and navigation flows that allow users to easily find the products they need, verify the reliability of sellers, and complete transactions in a secure and fluid manner.

Construction

We developed a digital marketplace with cutting-edge technology that guarantees the scalability and security of the system. We implemented a verification and rating system for sellers, direct communication tools between users, and an advanced search engine that improves the buying and selling experience.
