How was the project created?
How was the project created?
Challenge
Agéndate is an entrepreneurship project, in response to the demand observed for digital service booking tools, in addition to the trend of migration to low touch experiences, in which more and more products and services replace or complement their experience with elements enabled by mobile digital platforms. The main objective of the project was to develop a platform for digital booking of different services, among which are personal aesthetic services, medical services, among others.
Project
From a user-centric study, carried out with end users of the platform and with the owners of the participating establishments, we identified different aspects that take from the service booking experience, and others that strengthen it. These learnings were taken into account to develop a responsive web platform in which, without having to download an application, customers could make reservations for different day-to-day needs, in a fast, simple, and non-intrusive way.
At the same time, an administration platform was developed for the establishments that would participate in the project. This administration tool is connected with Whatsapp, in order to seamlessly integrate with the systems most used by customers. A Software As A Service SAAS business model was proposed, with the establishments paying a fixed monthly fee to use the platform.
How do we generate value?
- By creating a faster and more convenient day-to-day service booking experience.
- By providing users with information transparency, through the access to other users’ reviews, establishment ratings, etc.
- By improving the administration of participating establishments, through an easy to use platform and the integration of the tools they use on a regular basis.

For the establishments, we designed a solution that allowed them to simplify the management of their operation, such as personnel, administration, appointment logistics, among others, while improving customer experience through several tools that facilitate the request for appointments and allow a quick response to any concerns.
At the same time, for professional services customers, we designed a disruptive tool that, through a user-friendly, fast and intuitive experience flow, facilitates the process of exploring the services offered and streamlines the booking process, radically improving their experience.

The path towards the MVP
After the design process, we created a platform that had the essential functionalities to go to market. We call this “first version” of the tool an MVP (Minimum Viable Product), which is currently looking for funding.
After the launch of the MVP, we gather feedback from the market and with it, design new modules and functionalities that further improve the user’s experience.
